2012: Neighborhood clean-up

While we were building our community garden, we decided to develop alternate supplementary projects to cultivate a sense of family in the Elmhurst community. To achieve our overarching goal of creating a safer and cleaner Elmhurst on a micro level, we executed projects such as a Community Clean-Up, a Sandy Relief Clothing Drive, and The Greenhouse Project. If we can assist our community members in a more immediate and personal way, we can forge strong, long-lasting relationships in the long run.
